The question of guidance is a constant concern for Christians.

How did God guide Abraham’s servant as he went seeking a wife for Isaac? Abraham’s motivation was honourable and he was aware of potential pitfalls. His servant prayed and acted discerningly.

We may often see God’s guidance in retrospect. God’s will is often revealed to us while we are doing God’s already revealed will where we are.
